Just stumbled across this online while reflecting on "the good old days" and wondering where some people have gotten to over the years. It was funny to find my name on the list of the "missing". Not sure I should be found. Thinking back on high school, some things are best left forgotten and I am sure some persons needed therapy as a result of knowing me LOL Anyway, I am out here doing well. I just received an email from AAHS regarding Keith defeating Roosevelt!!! We always knew which Junior High reigned superior!!! Hee Hee!!! The reunion was very nice (despite the fact that we missed the majority of it). At least I got their for some 'drinks'. Many kudos to "Brenda and Committee" for all their hard work!!! -Laura |

| To Brenda & all Committee Members: You outdid yourselves again! I apologize for not being able to make most of the meetings but as most of you know "I've had my hands full". Now that I am close to graduation (again), I am getting ready to venture into another business. I've always loved the word "Entrepreneur"...it's sexy! What do I have to contribute about the reunion? After 20 yrs. some things change & others do not. Do we really reunite to see people we call our friends? It's like the tabloids; most of us want to see who's hot & who's not. What can you really expect after 20 yrs.? Sure it's great to talk about our families, some brag about their jobs, & others simply want to get away for a night so they can have fun. I was actually amongst those that had a fantastic time! As I scrolled down the classmates list I saw his name and saw that he was coming to the reunion. The shy person that I am, I e-mailed him and we talked for a couple of weeks beforehand...he made me laugh and he made me cry. When we met up that night he found out that he had been my secret love...how cool is that after 20 yrs.! I want to thank him for making this reunion the most memorable one for me (so far). One more thing, hopefully by the 25th some will realize that we aren't getting any younger & you shouldn't take the little things in life for granted...children, friendships, relationships (especially those people you can talk with and they don't judge you, question every little thing you do, and accept you for who you are. People like this only come around once in a lifetime! Hope to see you at the 25th. | |||

| Well, sounds like y'all had a great time. I live in Georgia still so trips back to Altoona are far and few between. I would liked to have come to the reunion....but I didn't graduate from AAHS, so thought that might be a requirement. I have followed the website here though for a while and it certainly brings back memories. Maybe I'll come to the next reunion....or at least look some of you up when I'm home next.
